A FEW HOURS AT THE TOP OF HILL

It was a Sunday. The weather is was fine. Several relative brothers and sisters come to our home that day. So we decided to go up the hill to the village boundary. Hence the name of this mountain. The mountain is surrounded by jungle. There are four villages bordering this mountain. The journey is a bit of difficult due to the scrubland at the foot of the mountain. Somehow we made our way through the jungle to the end of mountain. It was a bit of a hard journey. Then we helped each other and climbed the hill. No matter how bitter the journey was, there was a fresh feeling for us.

We were little frightened by the caves of wild boars and porcupines found in some places of the mountain. But we did not want to stop or return the hiking. On the way we saw lot of ornamental orchids, various plants and rare shaped trees. We went to the top of the mountain.

It is like a picture. The green environment that stretches far and wide brings a sense of freedom to the eyes. The towering skyscrapers as well as the white-painted dagobas and statues add a sense of serenity to the environment. In the meantime we saw it raining somewhere in the distance.

This is my younger brother's camera captured a thick cloud of black rain falling in the vicinity.

We enjoyed the beauty of the environment for a while. We also took photos and selfies.

At that time we saw the rain coming in the distance towards us. We decided to go back down the hill as soon as it rained. We came and went a long way and we got caught in the rain. Careful is a number one, so we got very carefully soaked in the rain and slowly made our way down the hill. Our hands and feet were well scratched. But that day was a very interesting day. No matter how bitter, those are the only memories we will have one day to memorise.
