MY STAMPS COLLECTION

I had a hobby of collecting stamps under various themes in my young age. Those stamps I collected, cut and pasted into a book. Somehow I passed the scholarship exam and attended another school. At that school there was an association of stamp collectors. I became a member of that stamp association at the grade seven. I exchanged stamps with friends in that association. Sometimes the stamp associations of different schools got together and held various workshops. We also went with them from our school. Because of this we got a lot of friends from other schools in addition to our school friends. So, we exchanged local and foreign stamps with them.

Sometimes stamps-relate competitions were held by the post office. We have participated in them too and achieved victory. Sometime we can also buy stamps in  that occasion. Some stamps are very old. Some of them are very small but their value is very high. So it's really fun to collect stamps and we got extra knowledge from this hobby. I had close to two thousand stamps. But now I have as little amount as 650 stamps.                 

These days it is a bit difficult to collect stamps because with the advancement of technology the number of stamps can be collected in small quantities due to less correspondence and increased use of digital devices. So the number of people who collecting stamps a hobby is really declining these days. But, I still like that hobby as much as I did then. getting a stamp is like getting a gem for me.
